Stainless steel wing nut.  Lock-nut for the base of the Wind Instrument on the mounting rod — no tools required.  Handy for temporary mounting such as when daysailing.

This is the metric M6 size, which is very hard to find in stainless steel.

Choose this one if you want a lock-nut that is very sturdy, or we also have a nylon wing nut that is very lightweight.  Stainless steel is an alloy that is generally considered non-magnetic, but you may still find that the nylon wing nut is sufficient for use near the digital compass.
